Our services
We provide both 1:1 tutoring & group tutoring to fit your specific needs. Most of our students enjoy group tutoring as it is in a small group atmosphere where they can learn with peer students while still getting personalised attention. Students that might need extra attention are recommended to book the 1:1 tutoring.
1:1 Tutoring
Personalised 1:1 tutoring lessons that are 60 Min in length. We normally recommend 1:1 tutoring for students that might need extra attention & large leaps in strengthening their weak areas. We will further recommend if this is the ideal option in our consultation call.
Small Group Tutoring
Within our small group tutoring we provide weekly lessons. Group tutoring is very visual & interactive, students will enjoy collaborating & learning from their peer students while still getting necessary personalised attention.
Teaching Methods
Interactive Lessons
Each student is assigned to a program that fits their academic level & ability. 1:1 or Small group lessons are interactive and done on Zoom & virtual whiteboard. Lessons also contain visual and graphic illustrations.
Preparing For The Exam
Focus is shifted from topical past papers to yearly past papers in the last few months of the program. Towards the last few months we also focus on teaching the quickest ways of solving problems as it's important to prepare students for time efficiency during the final exam.
Practise Makes Perfect
Digital copies of lessons are available to review after each online lesson. Lessons summaries or "cheat sheets" are also provided after each lesson. Finally, Worksheets are provided which cover past paper problems for the topic covered in each lesson. students are advised to review lessons and complete worksheets.
Mock Exam
Towards the end of the program we have a mock exam. The mock exam problems are taken from past paper problems & students will have similar time constraints as the final exam does. This is done to remove any exam anxiety from students & to make sure they are 100% ready for the final exam.
1:1 Policy
- 1 week notice before stopping the service is necessary - this also applies changing tutor or service.
- 2 days notice needed for rescheduling lessons.
- 3 Emergency Cancellations (with refund) permitted.
Small Group Policy
- 1 week notice before stopping service is necessary.
- 3 Emergency Cancellations permitted with refund.
